Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is a program funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) which allows undergraduate students to experience on-going research during the summer of the year for which they apply.
Our lab usually takes on 2 students per year for the summer, during which time they participate in various experiments and lab activities. By visiting the Nevis Labs REU program page you can see information on applying, as well as a list of the groups available for students to work in as part of the program.
On the right you can also find a non-exhaustive list of example topics past REU students have engaged in. For a full accounting of past REU projects (including the students’ reports), visit the Nevis REU page and follow the links for the respective years.
