  • Kaixuan Ni obtained his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2006. After spending two years of postdoc at Yale, he joined Columbia group continuing his research on the XENON experiment. His current goal is to help making XENON the world's first experiment to detect the real WIMPs. He is also exploring novel techniques to search for other dark matter candidates such as the axion, and to decipher the nature of neutrinos. Besides enjoying his time in the lab, he likes traveling, having good food and meeting with fun people. He wishes to spend more time with his wonderful wife, Xinyan, and energetic son, Yucheng.
