Kyungeun Elizabeth Lim joined XENON at Columbia in 2007.
She wrote her master thesis at Ewha university in Korea on the
background analysis of XMASS 100kg prototype detector.
While she was involved in XMASS experiment, Direct WIMP
Search experiment in Kamioka, Japan, she found it is awesome
to hunt WIMP and decided to be an experimental astroparticle
physicist. She is a big fan of Murakami Haruki, Paul Auster, and Paulo Coelho. Except reading novels, her hobby is going to the museums (she is enjoying free passes from Columbia to the MET, MoMA and other museums in NYC.). After she joined XENON group, she added hiking, playing ping pong and cooking pasta to her other hobbies. |
